Entry Drop Off
Entries for the 2025 Washington Beer Awards Fresh Hop and Cider Competitions need to be delivered between September 26th, 2025 and October 8th, 2025. Please check specific dates at back-up locations. Entrants are encouraged to coordinate collaborative drop-offs for distant locations and may request contact information for nearby entrants from the competition organizers.
For all drop locations:
All entries must be contained in stackable cases (24x12 oz cases, 12x22 oz cases, can flats of 12 or 24 cans) and ensure they are clearly marked for the Washington Beer Awards. For can flats, they must be structurally sound (if the flat is less than full, there must be filler to ensure the cans don't fall out), to enable a pallet to be assembled by the drop location.

Ensure the shipped bottles are well packaged. If packing peanuts are used, please enclose them in a plastic bag before adding them to the package. For bubble wrap, please use scotch tape (not packing tape) to hold the bubble wrap around the bottle. Note, we strongly recommend not putting "Washington Beer Awards" on the "to" address - use "WABA" or "Specialty Competitions" if they insist on more details.o
